Challenge: Simulating the original structure dynamics of analytical modal model
The analytical modal model is easy to handle comparing to the super element (SE) model, however, the response of original structure is not able to be obtained, therefore, in the case of the whole system mode where the modal model part is mainly deformed, it is not possible to consider countermeasures.
How to resolve pains:
Applying ESTECH.NAST+ "Recovery" option generates deflection and stress for the original structural model of the modal model, which is called "Recovery".
Strength of the Software
- Very efficient because recovery is only applied to the necessary output after calculating whole response of the structure.
- The standard command of MSC Nastran is usable such as mode shape/strain & kinetic energy/stress, etc.
