Challenge: Reduce Huge CPU time for large FE model calculation
The super element (SE) method is often applied to calculate large size of FE model efficiently. However, it requires advanced knowledge to develop SE model.
How to resolve pains:
In order to avoid the requirement of the advance knowledge to develop SE model, the method using analytical modal model is proposed.
- The modal model is easy to use because it is written by components of FE model.
- High accuracy is provided by utilizing residual stiffness.
- The modal model which is able to calculated by MSC.Nastran with basic function of ESTECH.NAST+.
