Overview
ESTECH.[I]property estimates Inertial properties (mass, center of gravity position, and moments of inertia) from the frequency response functions obtained by excitation test of the target structure using the least-squares method.
Features
In addition to estimation based on the mass line under free–free boundary conditions, this method also estimates inertial properties for structures in which the mass line does not clearly appear due to elastic modes by measuring the support reaction forces of the structure. It also enables frequency response analysis using the estimated inertial properties and the creation of comparison graphs between measured and analyzed results. The applications (track record) of this tool are as follows.
-
Measurement of powertrain inertial properties in a passenger vehicle under actual vehicle conditions
-
Measurement of inertial properties of passenger vehicles (actual vehicles and trimmed bodies)
