An enhancement tool with MSC Nastran specialized for noise and vibration analysis.
Overview
ESTECH.NAST+ is an enhancement tool for MSC Nastran that applies modal coordinate transformation. It expands various functions embedded on MSC Nastran to improve the efficiency of acoustic/vibration analysis and to help understand complex phenomena.
Features
- Modal Model Generation
- Generates a modal model(NASTRAN bulk data format) that can be used more easily than super elements. Also supports acoustic-structural coupled models.
- MDS
- Generates a Modal Differential Sub-Structure model by removing the candidate part to be modified from the entire structure. Total manipulation is conducted on modal coordinate system.
By replacing the modified part, dynamic characteristics of entire structure can be predicted immediately. - PMA
- For models with a large number of modes, sequentially extracts deformation patterns (principal component modes) that most strongly appear in the response. By eliminating local deformations, the important deformation shapes can be identified that contribute to the response at evaluation points.
- Unit Mode Analysis
- Extracts simple-shaped modes from complex eigenmodes to clarify the vibration transfer paths between modes from an excitation point to an evaluation point.
ESTECH.PlotTool enables interactive prediction and optimization of dynamic characteristics by eigenvalue-change.
