An excitation device that uses the inverse piezoelectric effect of piezo elements
Overview
In some cases of excitation tests, such as when it is difficult to secure enough space inside a structure or for impact excitation, common excitation methods like impact hammers and electromagnetic shakers are difficult to apply.
ESTECH develops excitation instilment that becomes in such cases possible by using the compact and lightweight piezo exciter that employs piezo elements.
Features
-
Significantly smaller than typical electromagnetic shakers
-
Wide frequency range from 500 Hz to 20 kHz
-
Easy setup enables more stable excitation tests than hammer tests
Example: engine mount excitation
Example: engine journal excitation
