Experimental Technology Characteristic Measurement Using a Hydraulic Excitor

The road noise performance of passenger vehicles has become a key factor with the electrification of automobiles (EVs). To enable large-input excitation tests from the tire contact patch for evaluating road noise, ESTECH has introduced a hydraulic excitation system.

This system ensures versatility by employing a compact exciter head. By changing the rigs used with the exciter head and the installation method, it can be used not only for road noise tests but also for measuring the dynamic characteristics of rubber parts, and for static deformation tests to evaluate vehicle-body hysteresis characteristics.
