CAE Technology Tire Modeling Technology for Vibration & Noise Analysis

On performing full-vehicle CAE NV (noise and vibration) analysis, the road inputs are key concerns in vehicle comfort performance. The tire ‘made of complex materials including rubber, and air inflated’ is one of the most difficult components to develop a simulation model.

Based on excitation tests and other measurements, ESTECH provides a method to identify material properties and develop simulation models by optimizing dynamic characteristics.
In addition, by adding rolling effects as dynamic stiffness matrices, doppler effect on air in tire, and modeling road input on tire patch, we enable accurate full-vehicle analysis using linear finite element analysis.
