Integrated Vehicle CAE Simulation Model Development and Analysis
Summary
In recent vehicle development processes, the following matters are required such as further reduction of development period, further improvement of development efficiency and further reduction of development cost. To achieve these requirements, it is essential to study vehicle performance using a simulation technique so-called Virtual Product Development (VPD) at various vehicle development phases.
However, in recent years, when more vehicle performance studies are required, various models, a wide range of study contents, and their data management are becoming more important as simulation technology, and there is a need to build a CAE environment that integrates them. Therefore, it is important not only to have highly accurate vehicle models, but also to collaborate with peripheral technologies to make more effective use of those vehicle models.

The integration of the above technologies enables to study number of vehicle performances efficiently by utilizing a huge variety of models, conducting wide range of the study, and managing the data.
